A gouge in the floor or a single cracked floor tile, or cracked window pane or mirror corner, a small burn or stain on carpet, etc.

The person who was negative on K1s might have been burned before.  

I was burned by a contractor like this once and never again.

My point was, in this day and age, it’s nice to see people who can actually reflect on an idea or person they don’t agree with instead of simply burning them at the stake.

I would use them as a shield and protect yourself from a contract that is going to burn you/ run away with your money. 

Wait until a tenant burns you once or twice and you see how much they care about taking money out of your pocket.
