I would be sure that my communication with all involved is ironclad.

Of coarse if it is a major problem or emergency, we would not do anything before communicating with you, the property owner, first.  

I figured it was the easiest way to communicate becuase i didnt trust her to do it.and thank you to all!  

It's not a bad option to consider though given the hands-on requirement of a short term rental, e.g. expectation of quick communication with renters, frequent turn around of units, etc. 

I even use Skype and TeamViewer to communicate with clients so I'd highly recommend looking for one of the best with great references that interviews well with you.So look for someone you can connect with that works out for your situation.Feel free to ask here if you have questions

They would communicate with realtor etc. but left the property in such disarray that it did not show well. 

Some investors are open to answering every call that comes their way, having a written list of questions at the ready, and communicate with every person that actually responds to their mailer.  

It was a low offer compared to list price the first day the property was on the market, but I communicated back and forth with the agent yesterday before and after viewing the property.
