I spent 4 year in DC for medical school, it just never impressed me.

The schools in the area rate 10 and 9's which is great so families could be the target audience. 

House is in a very desirable town with top notch school systems.

the nicer the neighborhood also, the higher the rent.usually, when analyzing a property, I look at:Purchase price (loan payment)taxes (county, city, school)insurancevacancy (7-12%)management (10%)capex (10%)(repairs for things down the road, ie: roof, furnace, etc. less for newer home, maybe zero for a number of years.)Misc (could be anything, ie:  Water, trash. lawn care, snow removal, etc...depends on your area)once I have this number, I subtract it from the rent I can expect to receive. ( you need to know what you can get in the area for rent. 

I have one kid going off to college this fall, which, is already paid for and another will graduate high school in 2 years.  

Hello all,I am moving to San Antonio to attend school for 4 years.

On a side note for Wayne Twp they they added a voter passed school tax that added about $350 to my bill, in addition to the assessed value going up 10% the same year.

Reasons it would make sense include being larger, closer to work, in a better school district, etc.

I only make $15 hourly part time 3 days a week(still in school to become a nurse).
