I can also tell you we hit a number we feel is crazy and equity and my wife said “ it doesn’t feel like we have that type of money“ She is completely right because equity does not put food on the table or buy a plane ticket to travel!

TBH I'm already seeing homes listed at 275K go for 300K plus and new constructions going over 310-320K...assuming you are from Bay Area ...so think of North Austin (RR, Leander, pflugerville) as your typical South Bay areas and SE Austin areas (DV, Manor, Elgin) as the next upcoming Fremont/Dublin..I feel several parts of SE Austin are diamonds in the dust now...risky play but high reward if you can hold for 10 years and a good tenant in place..

We've got proximity to the mountain, 300 days of sun, great beer, legal weed, an awesome food scene, beautiful parks, tons of little neighborhoods with their own commercial strip, and a diversified economy that seems to continue to attract businesses and therefore jobs and therefore people that make for a vibrant city.
