Chicago LIVE Meetup?
Good afternoon everyone!
Alright long story short: I'm new and want to make this my life.
I have been looking in the Events and Meetups forums for Chicagoland events and I am not seeing anything current. Most are dated 6 months old to 10 years old. With COVID this is understandable, but with restaurants opening back up I think we should attempt a meet up.
It appears there are MANY seasoned vets in here of all things Real Estate, along with a lot of hungry newbies trying to break into this wonderful world.
At this point I'm gaging interest of Chicago professionals/ agents/ investors/ newbies/ lenders. If something were capable of being put together, what interest would there be?
I know I'm tired of sitting on the side lines waiting to put my toes in the water. So let's get SOMETHING happening. If there seems to be enough interest, and we can locate a place to go let's make it happen.
*NOTE: this is just to see what overall interest level is prior to setting up an event that is why it's not posted in the events forums

@Wade Germann I am 100% in favor of doing an in person meetup, but I haven decided to stay virtual with the one I host in Forest Park for this year. The issue is finding a location. All of the restaurants are on capacity limits, so it is very challenging to find a location since most meetups didn't have any kind of food or drink requirement.
If you try to get one together count me in, but I think you either need to rent a space or you will need to pay a price fix per head like $15-20 per person, etc.
