I’m kind of leaning towards that, to find my own deals and go from there.

It was rental property vs. house hacking for me, but I’m leaning towards the latter.

I'm beginning to better familiarize myself with the area now that I'm strongly leaning towards buying there.

I plan to be moving back to Ontario in the next 1-2 years and will be looking to enter the real estate market; leaning towards a buy-hold-rent kind of deal at least for the first few houses I look at.

I'm leaning towards Zillow, since we only have one property, but can be convinced otherwise.  

One more vote for Indianapolis -- it is consistently on the top ten lists for best places to invest and so convenient for you to drive a couple of hours to not only make sure you are making a good purchase but also to keep an eye on your existing rentals. 

I am leaning more on the side of creating an LLC for the asset protection, but also because in the immediate future I will be investing with non-spousal partners.

I’ve been leaning toward doing the 4 unit in Chicago and forcing appreciation to increasing rents as tenants move but wanted to get other opinions.
