Developers are battling the same.  

In technical matters sometimes the detailed uphill battle of just getting the inquirer to the point where they can start to grasp the matter is a journey that doesn't make sense to voyage sometimes.  

I was reminded by @JD Martin.I’ve actually had to replace front loaders because tenants didn’t know you had  to prop the door open after usage and let them air out to avoid mold/mildew/horrible smells.

Instead of fighting a losing battle, be open to tenants with pets.

Some of the items they have entered include:Blinds too long and don’t turn smoothly, tub plugged, stove dirty, door bell not working, dishwasher smell, we did get her new dryer, refrigerator drawers cracked along many more.Property management sends someone over and I pay several hundred for each of these.

The owner Del is a foul mouth drunk.

The realtor would then want a guaranteed number of hours, then it becomes an argument and battle when you could have a cash cow STR.
