Specifically I think a lot about the smells that travel through the duct work between the units.

I can smell it nearly always on smokers.

On one of our duplexes, the tenant on one side reported that the smell of marijuana is coming from the other side. 

I guess we just picked a foul apple... 

No harm no foul.

It took more than a decade but I am excited (and terrified) to re-enter the fray.After dipping my toes into the market, I have battled against my paralysis and taken the leap. 

What if the smell was coming from a broken sewer line that was back-gassing into the unit, as well as leaking all around the foundation and rotting wood beams.

Water damage is one thing but getting smoke smell completely can be tricky!
