Greetings All,I'm currently 24 and about a year and a half out of college.

I called a real estate attorney and the consultation alone is $150, whereas the amount in question is “only” $1,190.I learned my lesson and made sure we had the security deposit accounted for at the next settlement, we actually avoided another $1200 repeat of the same.You can rest assured that this won’t happen again.

Overall, a few road bumps along the way, but lessons well learned.

Hello, A friend and business partner of mine and myself are looking to purchase a SFH in our local college town to live in while we both attend the school.

A quick Google search and I found out buying on land contract has these disadvantages because title was never fully transfer from seller to me until once contract paid in full ( great lesson for me) Those judgments from an insurance company are about $20k more than what I owe him.
