Living At Home, But Want To Get Started!
Greetings All,
I'm currently 24 and about a year and a half out of college. I spent my first 16 months with a financial firm working as a financial planner. I really loved it and learned a ton, but I didn't make money at all. The business was very tough as far as generating new business, but that's another story.
Now, I've moved to a new position with a commercial general ccontractor and am on salary. With some guaranteed income I'd like to get started in real estate pretty quick.
I graduated in 2020 right in the middle of the pandemic and had to move home. I'm still living at home and want to move out. That's the dilemma.
I don't want to throw money out by renting, but I also do want to buy my own home and then start investing.
The easy answer is house hacking, but do I have to use only personal income to get financing or are there other things to do?
What are you thoughts?
