I have attended a Northwest REIA meeting and am looking forward to more of those to learn and meet people. 

The northeast is loaded with turn of century multifamilies.Locate and attend 3 different local REIA club meetings great place to meet people gather resources and info.

Lots of great connections all over but we also have a very strong and active contingent here in MA on here so make sure to find them (Set up some keyword alerts to find out about local topics) and get connected.Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have.  

My favorite ways to get value out of this site are the podcasts, and the meet-up events. 

I haven't attended for a while due to schedule constraints.

For me education is very important not only for the theory and math behind the business as well as the countless connections you will make by attending but also it is a huge commitment to yourself to follow through and set the bar high. 

Stumbled upon this place trying to research a company after attending one of their Real Estate Seminars because I'm skeptical and I like to do my research before diving into something I know little about and tossing my money at them for "education" that may or may not pan out. 

Currently, I listen to podcasts and will be attending an Renauts to continue my real estate education.  

Attendance is usually 35-50.This month the scheduled speaker is a Battalion Chief from the City of Columbus, Division of Fire who will be discussing fire safety in rentals.
