Basement has new laminate floors. 1st fl has open concept, spacious kitchen w/ granite counters, island breakfast bar w/ seating, modern light fixtures, & SS appliances.

To me, it is pretty remarkable how many tourists are currently on the island.

I have several houses on the barrier island and they are quite aged as a whole, with some larger new build infill houses (one in Indian Harbour Beach right now with the elusive 3 car garage, but priced over $1 M).

Hi Everyone, I would appreciate any advice based on experience, or any knowledge, of what it's like to invest in multifamily homes on long island, Queens, and Brooklyn (More specifically Queens).

My sister bought a condo in Long Island with her boyfriend.

I am on Long Island, NY and the home prices here are very expensive.  

Google yielded this site: https://www.thebalancesmb.com/...It listed LA as best, West VA 2nd and AR 3rd based on Prop. taxes, 4 key Landlord laws, Avg Rental$, Avg Home price. 3 worst were Vermont, Nebraska and Rhode Island. 

The kitchen is open with a large kitchen island & lots of storage that walks into the formal dining area.
