Experience investing in Multifamily homes in Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island
Hi Everyone, I would appreciate any advice based on experience, or any knowledge, of what it's like to invest in multifamily homes on long island, Queens, and Brooklyn (More specifically Queens). I live in long island currently about 30 minutes from Queens, which is where I was born and raised, so I am familiar with the area, but not too familiar with the investing culture that is (or isn't) present.
I'm 21 and currently studying for my real estate license, and am also interested if there even is an investors market for whom I could help buy rental properties in this area as an investor-friendly realtor in the future.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey @Abel Curiel - I'm in a similar boat as Luca (although not an agent myself). Do you recommend any meetups in particular for Brooklyn/Queens investors?
Quote from @Mohammed Rahman:
Hey @Luca Perinuzzi welcome to the world of real estate brokering!
I recommend attending a couple of real estate meetups to meet other investors and brokers who you could start forming a 'sphere' with that will increase the likelihood of you being in touch with the right person to broker a transaction for.
Agreed with all points Abel made above. I'm born and raised in Queens (Bayside, Fresh Meadows, Jamaica, etc.) and Eastern Queens and Southern Queens will be your best bet for best returns since these areas are still developing.
