Then we used a rotary scraping attachment that we attached to a hand drill, something like this:http://www.homedepot.com/p/Forney-4-in-x-1-4-in-Hex-Shank-Coarse-Crimped-Wire-Wheel-Brush-72739/206472317It was a little thicker than that -- worked great but it was back-breaking work using it with a small power drill.

I have no idea what future guideline changes will bring, but now there is the technological ability to actually exclude those debts, should it ever be decided by the powers that be that this would be a good idea, because the trended data is right there on the credit report (actually started appearing, in my office, a few months ago).

Hi @Oswald Oswald, I live in the Bay Area and understand that your purchasing power of about $850k will get you into a condo/townhouse and probably not a SFH - I'm assuming that's why you are focusing on the condo/townhouse.Yes, purchasing a townhouse in the East Bay is not a bad idea as long as it is designated a PUD on the title.
