Good Morning BP,

My husband and I are finally getting more than our toes into RE investing. We are looking to buy and hold.  We have a great team already. God has really been putting this on our hearts. My brother already rehabs for investors and my mom is a realtor and has an investment property, my brother is an electrician and my cousin a roofer. Ideally I'd like to supplement our contribution toward my daughters' education. We want to put them in private Christian school. In addition, my hope is to pay off our primary residence in the next 5 years or buy our next home cash...regardless, I want to be mortgage free so as to open a Christian Coffee Shop. My goal is 5 years.

My husband works on roofs as a solar installer and hopes to get off the roof and away from the long hours eventually. He says let's put this green energy money to some good use. We make a great team. I love him so much and if real estate is our path to financial freedom then amen.

@Lynn Hill-Torres Welcome to BP! Sounds like you have a great competitive advantage that you can put to good use. Have you looked into attending any meetups or real estate groups? Also, I wrote a blog the other day that might be of some value. Check it out @
