New BP member in the Dallas, TX area!

Hi BP community!

I've been listening to the BP podcast for about a year now. After my wife and I  became parents last December I decided it was time for me to stop standing on the sideline analyzing and start investing in real estate! My goal is to build passive income so I'm able to have the freedom to spend time with my family! 

I currently own 1 investment property which I bought with my brother about 8 years ago. I wasn't too sure of what I was doing back then, but the price was low enough that it made sense. To this point it has been a great investment property and we still have it. 

I'm ready to start learning and building my portfolio! I will continue to come back to the forum to learn, build connections, and help other BP member in the near future!
