@Will Reed unfortunately there can be no emotion in business.

I have had one offer in the mid 2's.. so I dont know  maybe that drip income I would have put to good use.. maybe I probably just spend it on stuff.. and would not have the discipline to put it aside.. thats why i love land once i pay for it It sits there. 

They have limited funds and very emotional :) My lender is in #2 category ( we sat through a bit over half a dozen lenders within category #2) .

There is a discipline to this and needs to be done with caution.

A person's potential home isn't viewed as purely a commodity, it's an emotional reaction, e.g.: Will I like coming home to this place?

Of course, this is where they play into your emotions and pushing to up-sell their program, because making "professional decisions yields professional results."

Some folks place a really high emotional value on being debt-free.But no advantages mathematically to accelerate this loan (if it's long-term and fixed), especially since the mortgage interest on a rental is tax deductible. 

Take the emotion out of it.

The saying "it is about the journey not the destination" is so true and can only be experienced once you personally experience achieving a large goal.What I have found works for me is to work on my internal / emotional happiness and not just my bank account.We were literally talking about this last night with world famous people who are very wealthy.
