Front Door - Paint or Replace

Pretty simple questions here...

Should I paint my existing front door? Or would you recommend replacing the entire front door?  This is for a duplex that I am house hacking/renovating. 

Current front door is a steel 6 panel door with no window. Option to replace it would run me about 300$ to replace with a nice, pre-finished steel door that I think would add a bit to the look of the place.

What have you had the most success with? Is a new door worth the cost? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@Jeremy Mattson if the door is in good condition, and the house is not high-end, paint it a good color to give it some pop.
