Well, the laundromat really because I didn't want to wait all day for laundry at home.Was never really successful in any of those endeavors and the 80 hour weeks were really killing me so if I'm being completely honest with myself I'm actually glad the economy tanked and forced me out of those types of businesses.

Underwriting syndications well is a lot harder than it looks and is a skill like assessing the risk, margin of safety, and upside of any other financial endeavor. 

My family and I do creative real estate investing in Skagit County, and really try to know the zoning of Anacortes and Mount Vernon, that has really helped us with our endeavors.
