If you are in a partnership and titling homes in an llc, portfolio lending may be your route.

Then thing about the basics if you want a light here is there electrical there now or would electric need to be re routed to make your idea work.

Most folks I've talked to tend to head to NW Indiana (not that there's anything wrong with either route...just an observation).

Any one go this route?

There are so many routes in REI that I can see how so many options could lead to a lack of necessary focus.

While the mentor route is a great one, you'd be surprised how much you can learn by utilizing BP and reading REI books.

yeah, I'd probably avoid the rehabbing route till you could dedicate a while to be around for it.
