We are considering, if successful, purchasing an additional property/rental for grad students (hopefully less wear and tear) and what seems like a consistent rental market.

Maybe you can find a handyman in market to swap out instead of driving.

  - Optimally, a national lender able to offer financing in multiple markets or States. - Seasoned with proven track record and positive reviews of performance.- Dependable, trustworthy and professional. - Weekends are workdays. 

We have started to think about selling the property and using the proceeds to buy another home in a more desirable area where we believe market and rent appreciation has greater potential for growth.

It turns out that coordinating engineers, marketing and sales to launch a software product is not crazy different from coordinating vendors and subs to "launch" a construction project.I will disagree with everyone who says that hiring subs yourself puts you at a pricing disadvantage vs. prices GCs get.
