Actually, I should add that starting a new thread with the full question in the title would catch people's eye as they scroll through - for example, "Looking for a Property Manager in {County X}", this way when people who can help you spot your post, it will get in front of them without them having to click on it & search to see where it is (which they probably won't do).  

I think the caveat here is in core vacation markets...

Learn how to spot liars, buy good tools, keep yourself in good shape, demolition is cheap and dangerous, finish carpentry is expensive and less dangerous.

Looking at this as long term ownership and also as a second home that I will rent out via a vacation rental management company.

Which means you can simply have people with money staying put or off on vacation while more and more people are looking to buy their first home and get out of apartments.

If you intend to use the property for you personal use/vacation at least some of the year, it can be qualified as a second home.
