The South Shore (think Weymouth to Plymouth) can occasionally hit 1% - but not very often. 0.8% is more common.The South Coast (Fall River, New Bedford) can often hit 2%, but the trade off is lower rents to go along with those lower prices.The basic rule is the further away you go from Boston, the lower prices tend to be.
