Property tax assessors website is a wealth of information when you're looking for properties to mail to.

I initially started researching on Bigger Pockets to find discussions on strategies to weather the storm in a declining market because that’s the biggest fear for us to get started.Thank you for all the information so far and I look forward to being an active member on the forum.

The property in question was actually a short sale that only allowed inspections for informational purposes only.

there are many mentors / coachs on Bp that will charge you for this information. which is not a bad thing if it helps you succeed in your business. if your looking for the free route go to the REIAsMentoring is hard.. some folks probably love it . myself I could not think of something worse to do..

Notary was sent to me - no information that I was paying for this.........I've had 10 online closings, printed the documents, walked them to a notary, and overnighted them back (no charges).  

This site is great for networking and getting a ton of real estate information.

So would a layman like me be privy to that information? 

I will admit it – I was hungry- I wanted more but I didn’t have the skills or experience to do it on my own, I didn’t want another job - I was sacred –  I was sold on all the propaganda about real estate riches and continued to search for that magic formula.That was over 40 years ago - as I think back about all those programs - I realized that my intuition, creativity, imagination or the pure synergism of all that information enable me to create hybrid formulas of my own – formulas that helped me avoid conventional financing, credit approvals, cash down payments, real estate agents, gate keeps and those others who wanted to delay my progress of making money in real estate.

They are just one source of information and it may not be accurate or may not even apply to you, your personality/skills/abilities, and particular goals.
