Unlike many on BP who talk about getting into REI, Chris has actually done it.And so while the content of some of these replies may be accurate, the tone of the replies in my opinion leaves something to be desired.While telling the truth is important -  being real is important - I think those of us with more experience and greater wealth have a responsibility to help others who demonstrate the effort and commitment to succeed.For all of us who have created financial security and freedom thru REI, we were “green” at one point and were helped along the way by others.

My strategy is to BRRRR my way to financial freedom.

I value flexibility and freedom to move into the house I want, in the nice school districts that we like, scale up or down as needed, etc much easier than owning. 

I'm actually an RN and work night shifts, so i have the flexibility to work my 3 shifts at night and pursue this other hustle during the day (with some sleep of course lol) Anyway, glad you're also taking initiative on pursuing this road to financial freedom.

Ultimately it comes down to what gives you more freedom and opportunity.

Finical freedom is going closer and closer so my question is more how do the two handle agents buying properties for themselves and commission splits.  

It is the best way to retire, have financial freedom, and generational wealth. 

How about applying for a 18 month interest free card like Chase Freedom and rolling over into that?

Plus I doubt 1 out of 100 who try this game make it more than one year... and I think most if they really want financial freedom and all the BS about not working for a company and the freedom blah blah balh that RE brings.. if they just went into this as establishing a RE business that is sustainable they may actually make it more than 12 months.Any way I have to go and fund some more wholesale deals talk later  :)
