Tenants Delay Submitting Move-in Inspection Checklist
25 July 2013 | 4 replies
I figure that if there's a dispute over charges to the tenant's deposit later on, the certified letter as well as earlier emails on the subject would satisfy a judge that the tenant had delayed submitting the checklist long enough to undermine its validity. The tenant's delay then actually would seem to work to the advantage of the landlord.

Upgrades by tenant?
14 August 2013 | 6 replies
.:- Perhaps some concerns about tenants putting money into the property and somehow getting some vested interest in the property..That would be my only concern, and I would consult an attorney about it.If all is well, I would have the tenant sign an agreement stating that landlord is not responsible for cost of upgrade, nor will reimbursement be given in any form.

I personally prefer NH because of the landlord laws, but if you manage property as a job, you already know exactly what you're getting into.
