Depending on the type of loan (conventional versus FHA), they have very specific requirements for the condition of the property - from the age of the roof to the condition of the paint. 

The new place was an estate sale, where it stated specifically on the listing that in the contract offer it must say 'Subject to the Approval of the Franklin County Probate Court'.

We are currently interested in beginning in Ozaukee County in SE Wisconsin, specifically the cities of Cedarburg, Grafton and Port Washington.We welcome any advice and relationships that come with this along the way.

The most important one to me is: have a specific plan, do your research, don't rush into any decision and follow your gut.
