Perhaps it differs between different regions, markets, types of banks, etc.Bigger Pockets Podcast episode 70 (I think) from three or so years ago was my first glimpse at subject-to purchasing, the guy interviewed had done over 100 deals that way, it might be interesting to you.

I am a Senior Manager at a regional accounting firm in the area and my wife is a self-employed hair stylist.As for real-estate experience, we have none with flips or rentals.

Sure, the margins are thinner here than in Boston, but are still higher than many other regions of the country.I'm not that far from Fall River and New Bedford and, yes, the home prices are lower there and there are not as many jobs to be had.

@Shazia ChiuIt's great that you are learning from other people's experiences, but remember that most people on BP are in different regions and market responses are different based on geography/demographics and you need to account for that.
