I am in southeast NC and we got hit hard by Hurricane Isaias and most homes in this area already have power restored. 

You can also find options on the East side as well as SouthEast, just different appeals to each location for different investors.

Also the ability to read topo maps was critical.. a lot of my listings in the day were 10 20 miles back into the national forest and you simply could not afford to survey an 80 acre in the boonies and of course this is all mountainous territory so topo worked pretty darn well.
