Downtown areas may experience oversupply, while outskirts/suburbs see limited construction and increased demand, causing prices to rise.Remember, no one can predict the future, so contemplate your decision carefully.

A valuable piece of information that I've received is that time in the market is more important than trying to predict when rates will decrease.

Hi @Mike Loop, IF you have multiple exterior doors on the property the cost effect of this might answer the question for you, but assuming you only have a front door:As long as a handle AND some sort of manual securing method (like the latches or chains that are only useable when you are inside the home) this would/should/could be a non-issue.There's no predicting people's fear and thoughts around safety sometimes, but this should create a reality in which they are able to be certain they are safe when they are in the home.
