Arbitrage opportunity - Lake Hartwell

Hello, my friend bought a really nice 4BR lakefront home on Lake Hartwell (Georgia / South Carolina border). Due to his life schedule it’s probably going to be vacant for the next 6 months, so I told him I’d ask around if someone wants to get some furniture and arbitrage it. Feel free to message me directly.

Quote from @Tanner M.:

Hi everyone,

I was looking at that lake and possibly getting a STR there. Is it still a good place to get one? We would want one with waterfront access and use it a few times a year. We are in florida and with insurance not easy to make any cashflow anymore. Does it matter much if on the SC or Georgia side? Insurance wise? Property tax? Etc. Any good property managers you can recommend? What do they usually charge in that area? Thanks!

I have a vacation rental on lake Hartwell.

It does very well. I has a private covered slip dock and great views of the lake from the back porch.

Yes Lake Hartwell is a great location. I am close enough to Clemson University so get bookings from events such as Graduation and football game weekends.
