I know the pricing may be tight given how expensive the market is in our desired areas but we could consider anything near the Mount Pleasant and West Ashley areas that are nice areas to live but within a 30 minute drive of downtown.

The house is on the edge of Mount Pleasant, which is still in the tony part of town 160 years later.

Won't help your current problem, only a licensed electrician can do that, but for moving forward, it's handy...We use the generator to power a trailer mounted pressure washer that has a 250 gallon water tank for exteriors, driveways, etc. and a lot of the smaller "fix it" stuff.

It seems right now to be best to start in an outlier like Mount Juliet or Mufreesboro, but that all depends on your price range.
