San Francisco; there is really no metric I know of other than projected job growth.With the COVID situation, and the possibility that local politicians may want the economy curbed into the gutter for political reasons, I doubt projected job growth would be reliable at this point in the game.Plus Manhattan tends to march to it's own economy.

You will have to pay employer's portion of Soc Security even though you maxed out on the employee's side.All of that really requires a more holistic review from a good tax accountant or a good financial planner.

The easiest way to underwrite the number for me is by looking on the short term rental platforms(airbnb/vrbo) as a potential guest and review the host's schedule/previous month reviews for occupancy and average nightly rate.
