The market went into the pandemic in an extreme seller’s market with incredibly low listing inventory.

First impressions are that the environment in Winston, and in several other markets I researched, is saturated with investor money looking for properties (thanks BP!).

It has proven *incredibly* difficult to find any insurance company that will insure the property, much less at a reasonable premium.I have checked with numerous companies over the course of a week - Lemonade, USAA, Progressive, All State, Wawanesa Insurance, Hippo, Liberty Mutual, Mercury Insurance, Amica, etc.

The mountain views, indoor pools, hot tubs, etc all seem great, but are the numbers making sense in this new environment of technology and sellers squeezing every penny out of their property?

I am a conservationist, but adding solar to this property would not be wise financially (but would be good for the environment).
