@Mark Fein so I scanned this thread after your comment and literally not one of the answers--pro or not--advocated for any kind of fraud.

Their website blows every other brokerage site out of the water.

I think he has bought these using creative financing and sometimes has a second on them with an unsophisticated lender which means if anything blows up, it blows up spectacularly. 

The tenants will provide their sob story for losing their home and they can thank the rent control policy that they advocated for (so they can only blame themselves).  

The things I've seen tenants and O.F. buyers do to houses because they they feel they were unfairly being evicted / foreclosed would blow your mind.

(sheepish grin)STR is on my mind and I misread your story about the tenant's son breaking back in and blowing the place up. 250 is about what the average STR charges for a clean up and I morphed that into a quick turn charge in my mind. ;-) Now, I will go back to my goal of casually drifting through the weekend.Happy Thanksgiving.  

But I don't want to blow that then have to go back to work. 

BUT:  if these stands are bought purely for plup production then I think tree damage is not a big deal but you still have fire and the other thing I have seen there in the deep south is Blow down.. 

It does blow my mind this place has sat for two full decades.
