@Jonathan Greene yes, definitely considered living in one of the basement units myself. 

As long as you have what David Greene calls your core 4 you should be in good shape.

A broker, whether for Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac or even a DSCR loan should have a variety of lenders in their quiver of arrows so they can shoot you the right one and save you time and money.Stephanie 

@Jonathan Greene From my perspective, I feel like wholesaling / finding off market deals is a business in itself.

I'm pretty green to the REI game, but I asked a lot of questions and wasn't able to find someone who could make it happen.

The construction workers are using our water ( that we pay for) and also electricity ( we pay for that too) they also fill up our garbage cans when the landlord pays for only one green bin when we pay for the other 3!
