You can't go after their Public assistance payments, Health and disability insurance payments, Worker's compensation, social security, veterans and unemployment benefits.As for Tax Refunds I believe in Connecticut you can only do that for Child Support and even that its a jump through hoops for getting on that.

Personally, since I purchase a lot of HUD homes, I have privately and publically answered dozens and dozens of questions for members of this siteHowever, when questions come up regarding Real Estate Guru's or high priced seminars, the ONLY supporters have very few posts and then often attack the veterans of this site as "haters" Hmmmmmm

I had checked all that I could myself, but decided to run the deals thru a couple veteran investors / rehabbers from the area.They strongly recommended that I backed out, since the area was a though area, and from their perspective, I was paying too much.I took their advice and now I am back on the market.
