I still think a well thought out direct mail program is they way to go for marketingAs far as education you cant beat Josh and Brandons "Beginners Guide to REI" found here on BPAnother guy I reccomend Highly is Justin Williams at www.houseflippingHQ.comHe has a course called FFF which is excellent and he sells for peanuts,,,plus hes a honest squared away going doing the business full time,,,,In time youll find REI is a tough little nut to crack ,,but it is worth all the effort if you stick to your guns and press onHope this helps,,,I wish you ther post.Im a contractor and I post here about plumbing and contractor issues from time to time.I love BP and all the gang here and I try to help and do my partGood Luck RobertDD in Los Angeles

If military is in your nature and an early retirement with excellent pension and benefits is what you are after this sounds even better than the military.Was recently at an inauguration for a new police officer and the room was full of 40 year old retirees.

That said, it is an excellent resource as there are deals to be had and buyers to be found.Like John said, you'll need to do your own research / due diligence, but there are plenty of "real" buyers and sellers on the site.We have bought and sold properties through the site.

Sorry Sher,GRE should have been GRI and it stands for Graduate Realtor Institute, basically some extra course works and a few years experience to qualify.On the subject of Credit Unions, I meant Local to the Properties, not local to you.I have an excellent Credit Union in Rochester NY who writes all over the country but they won't do a flip.
