If I understand what you're describing, it sounds like your lender is being particularly aggressive and probably does not want you to refinance out of his/her loan product, though that is your choice.

I do plan on getting a backup generator but there’s a one year backlog ughPlumber is pushing for me to switch to a new propane heater to heat both units.My concern is running out of propane and having the pipes freezing...Someone suggested to me that electric baseboard heaters are a good choice and cost effective.
