Self-managing anthing, but a Class A property, remotely is a recipe for disaster.Most Class B and ALL Class C properties need local management to succeed.

and in certain areas petty crime can be just as bad as any of the C/D class areas of other cites.But bottom line for me  can self manage A class tenants  maintenance super easy  and appreciation which is where wealth is garnered if your just running a small portfolio like myslef. 

Those renters who bailed without paying rent will likely declare bankruptcy.In the final analysis, the victims are small mom/pop landlords and MF Cos. who will have to liquidate the Real Estate assets to protect themselves from bleeding furthering the crisis of liquidity in that Real Estate Class.
