Granite is a natural product and can and will have a different look between the different slabs.  

Naturally I stumbled across this community and have been reading all the advice y'all have provided.

The back of the home has a hole in the wall and one of the structural beams has been impacted - it appears as if it has suffered some light damage, although nothing major.

The (new) owners are only after the easy cash, naturally & have no inclination to upgrade either the property or their screening process. 

The best way to get out of a contract is never get into one, if you don't know what you're doing, don't sign one until you see the light at the end of the tunnel, if that light turns out to be a train, your lender will get you off the track.

For the estate there's time delay - public nature - expense as well as the dynamics involved in probate and the mixed emotions the family is going through.

After doing this flip I am currently working on I realized that it is second nature and very easy for me.
