As long as he has road access on his property and isn't entitled to crossing your land, I'd haul everything to his driveway and place a nice note and some BBQ telling him "thank you" for lending the items but you don't need them anymore and as a good neighbor you are returning them.

I’m told that the Seller Finance Coalition is currently working with Congress to get the limit  increased so keep your fingers crossed and if you can volunteer or provide any financial support for that initiative I highly recommend doing so.
