Search for distressed or boarded up homes, then reseach those properties to see if it is vacant, absentee owner, or if they are behind on their mortgage or back taxes etc.. send them a letter =)

We just sent out 1,000 yellow letters to absentee owners as well as Pre-foreclosures within two different counties.

Based on what I have learned through the BP podcasts and the Googles, my wife and I sent out our first round of "driving for dollars" yellow letter campaign this week.

I sent out letters 3 days ago to owners in pre-forclosure with hopes to do a "subject to" deal but a realtor responded instead.

From there, I would send a letter (certified mail) to the contractor laying out my case for what was agreed to, what was completed and what I thought was reasonable compensation.

do u do letter campaigns or how do u find the land?  

I had challenged my housing authority because I had wriien over and over for months to get a letter from the Director of HUD and he agrees to that law.

I would likely waive it this time if it is the first time they have forgotten the deposit slip, but my letter/email waiving the fee would come with future clarification for them stating exact lease terms and then explanation of what that means to you.  

I've ordered my first set of 1k letters for my direct mail compaign.

Second - contact your REI attorney and have him draft a letter stating that you are requesting the warranty repair, no more at this point.
