I was told by a member of the Taunton zoning commision as it is now its a legal small multifamily but the zoning ordinance states that if the property is damaged 65% or more (determined by the building commissioner) through fire, flood, wind ect. then it has to be rebuilt conforming to the current zoning laws, which is single family only for that area.

I would say it comes down to what is in your lease.My lease says they are responsible for the remainder of their lease or until I have it rerented.My lease also says if they have pest problems during the first 30 days I will take care of it, beyond that they are responsible because I can't control how clean they keep their place and leaving out food attacks critters.Will their deposit cover the last month and is their any damage or is it mainly just a cleaning issue?
