The turn-key model works well for me as I am a full time CPA working at a large tech company in the SF Bay Area.

My utility company does budget billing so it is the same price every month.

STR is not a quick easy thing to set up but it definitely could be a back up plan if your house doesn't sell in the right time frame. 

I've never heard of this company before but want to check into it further.

There's no one set rent amount for a 2-bedroom house, for example.
