I quickly discovered the Bogleheads and FIRE communities and became an index fund investor three years ago, maxing IRAs and 401(k)s and all that fun tax optimization.

Its the most valuable site I think on the entire web.

There are a lot of short term rental vacation homes here, so you will need to be careful to choose a vacation home optimized for rentals and one that is in a prime location.Keith
