Seeking a Mentor - Nashville, Tennessee

Hello Bigger Pockets! I am new here, and I just wanted to quickly introduce myself. 

I'm also really interested in finding a mentor that is experienced in property investment! 

A few things about me:

• I live in Nashville, Tennessee, where (as I'm sure you all know) the property market is booming
• I am completely new to RE Investing, but I am very interested in multiple types of investing, and real estate is a priority
• Real estate has always been around in my life — My mother has been a licensed real estate agent for nearly 20 years, and she now works at a prominent staging company here in Music City.
• I have some software/programming/web development experience, and graduated a programming bootcamp at the start of this year
• I have always been money-minded, and right now I am focused on growing my knowledge of investment in both real estate and the cryptocurrency/stock markets, as well as diversifying my income in general.

If you are just getting started there are many groups around the Nashville area that are meant specifically for new investors and education. If you sign up on meetup.com the REIN here in Nashville can be helpful. I would also start listening to the podcasts here on bigger pockets. 

Websites like myhousedeals.com and connected investor also have resources to help investors start out and become financially independent. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
