Am very interested in areas around Case/John Carroll, west-side suburbs, or anything else that's appealing. 

HUD does a visual inspection via the asset manager, et al before it's listed in the homestore.  

This was done in order to make the deal more appealing from a development standpoint.

RI laws says: 12 mature plants ("plant which has flowers or buds that are readily observable by an unaided visual examination"), 12 immature plants ("plant with no observable flowers or buds") and 2.5 ounces of useable cannabis.Not sure what yours says and that is per person.  

Something about having someone else pay off the mortgage sounded really appealing to me.

The idea (currently at least) of being able to put in sweat equity by fixing things up myself and especially learning the how's to do those things is really appealing.

Keep in mind attorney's fees are now added to the payment which can make it less appealing. 

It sounds like the financial gains may be quicker with wholesaling, but I find the self-storage concept appealing.

They would be willing to give it to you because a vacant property, especially an unkempt one, is nothing but a drain on curb appeal and market value for them.
