Note: Do plan on having to appeal your tax bill you can check with the county on how to do this.Also check on HUD's web site to see if any rebates (lack of a better term) or other incentive exists for an early closing date.

The least you can do is research information on the web and become as knowledgeable as you can prior to spending that much.We thought it may have been a good idea to spend around $5k, but then I realized it was like paying $3k for somebody to teach me the basics on how to fish and $2k on the actual guided tour.I didn't need to spend the money on simple stuff I can find on the internet.
