So don't buy rental but keep buying primary locally... you can even double your networth very quickly buy buying broken-home and flip it around. 

Add in things about yourself to separate yourself from the big buy companies.

One other thing, don't buy home warranties, or extended warranties on appliances. 

I am trying to support them by finding investors to assist in buying lots and financing  their construction.I am familiar with the actual development side, but not so much with the investing and deal making (that's why I'm here to learn more), when I connect a builder with an investor, what would be a fair price to charge so I am compensated for my effort.

I have a few clients that have asked me about buying investment condos and I generally tell them to not consider it vs a house/multifamily

We have started to think about selling the property and using the proceeds to buy another home in a more desirable area where we believe market and rent appreciation has greater potential for growth.

@Mark Peeples it's buy and hold and rent out to tenants as a mid-term rental unit.

You can't just buy a condo in any neighborhood and start renting it out weekly.
